Rosewall Townehomes was developed in two phases - 16 homes were built in 1988 and an additional 7 were built in 1996. The townhomes are part of Wimbledon, one of the first Planned Urban Developments in North Carolina. As members of the Wimbledon development, the residents of Rosewall Lane have use of a beautiful clubhouse with a fitness center, a pool, small playground, and 6 clay tennis courts. The neighborhood also boasts 2 ponds and scenic greenways, perfect for walking.

Rosewall Lane is a quiet private street with a cul-de-sac, and conveniently located close to shopping and restaurants. Kildaire Farm Road and Cary Parkway border the Wimbledon/Rosewall neighborhood and provide easy access to Wake Med Hospital and the Cary Fire Department, both only one mile away. Nearby shopping includes Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Harris Teeter, Walmart, and Crossroads Shopping Center.

Rosewall Townehomes is governed by a volunteer Board that is elected by the homeowners at an annual meeting each November. The Board oversees the budget, as the Association is responsible for exterior maintenance and repair of each home, the painting of each home on rotation, roof repair and replacement, gutter replacement, gutter cleaning twice a year, annual termite inspection, and all grounds maintenance for homeowners who are in good standing. Homeowners are encouraged to maintain small garden areas in their front and back yards. Monthly dues are currently $200 to Rosewall and $100 to Wimbledon.
